Meet Dr. Alexandra D. Best
Alexandra D. Best, DMD MSD
Dr. Alexandra Best will primarily see patients out of our Concord office alongside Dr. Johnson.
Education and Experience
Dr. Best was born and raised in snowy Buffalo, NY. After graduating valedictorian from her high school, she attended Princeton University, where she spent a semester studying abroad in Madrid, Spain and ultimately earned her Bachelor of the Arts in Spanish Language and Culture. Upon graduation, Dr. Best pursued a career in the dental field. She received her D.M.D. from the University of Florida, graduating first in her class and earning membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society. Finally, her educational career brought her to Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received my Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Orthodontics.
After graduation from residency, Dr. Best moved to Boston with her husband, Brendan. She joined a private practice south of Boston, but when the opportunity arose to join the team with Chad Johnson Orthodontics, she knew it was something she couldn’t pass up. She and her husband relocated to Charlotte last fall and she is so grateful to have joined such a wonderful practice dedicated to providing excellent orthodontic care to the greater Charlotte area.
In the Community
In their free time, Dr. Best and her husband enjoy running, biking, skiing, trivia, traveling, eating at new restaurants, and playing with their adorable cat, Tiger. They are eager to establish their new life together here in Charlotte, and look forward to meeting more people and getting to know the community better. They want to thank you all for welcoming them!
